The Happy Strong Healthy

RETREAT

An exclusive, one-day mind-body experience. Give yourself the true gift of health and self care.

JOIN THE HAPPY STRONG HEALTHY REGISTERED DIETITIAN TEAM IN NEW JERSEY THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 24th.

Join us for an exclusive mind-body experience

This one-day retreat is designed to take care of you from the inside out, nourish your mental health and experience the human connection we have been missing this past year. You’ll have fun, grow and learn a whole lot about how to truly take the best care of your health to promote true happiness.

it’s time to get connected and learn how to nourish your mind + body forever.

A COMMON MISCONCEPTION IS THAT WELLNESS IS ALL ABOUT “WHAT WE EAT.”

The thing is, your true health stems far beyond simply what you choose to eat each day! At HSH we believe there are five pillars that must be nourished each day in order to achieve true "wellness" and really to take the best

care of your whole being. Oftentimes it is nutrition that comes easiest to people (believe it or not!) but the other four pillars need a little extra attention and time. At our retreat, we are going to teach you how to care of all five.

Nutrition is a big PIECE of the puzzle, but at HSH our goal is sustainable habits for life

That includes making sure we cultivate health and happiness with your entire body. In a way that LASTS.

At our one day retreat, we are going to define each of the five pillars for lifelong wellness and teach you how to nurture them so that you can feel your best, for life.

Spoiler!

This is a mental health-focused retreat and STRESS MANAGEMENT is one of the five pillars, one that is so often neglected. We have seen this time and time again, especially this past year and want to help you understand how your stress truly impacts your health and what you CAN do to change it for the better.

FOOD FREEDOM

A term you may hear often tossed around the social media space. Images of happy people eating donuts without a care may come to mind. Social media makes this idea seem far out of reach or even at times unrealistic. At our retreat, we are going to help you understand what food freedom can mean for you.

At HSH we believe that true food freedom is the ability to choose. The ability to have unconditional permission to eat all foods but to choose the ones you want when you want them, based on the way they make you feel. Understanding how to achieve this is the first step, and it can be fun.

DANIELLE MUSTO

Hey, I’m Danielle! I cannot wait to welcome you into the Happy Strong Healthy family! I am currently finishing up my Masters in Dietetics and I am so excited to help you understand the science behind nutrition and our food choices.

I used to think about food all day long. I would finish one meal and immediately think of the next. I was so obsessed with calories that I was never satisfied with the food I was eating. It was no way to live life. I am here to teach you how to see food as way more than calories and macronutrients. To help you start having fun in the kitchen and enjoying this process to forever food freedom.

MATT WERNER

Matthew Werner (RYT-700) was first introduced to yoga as a supplement to training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2013. He’ll be the first to say that he was far from “all in” initially. Over time, though, Matt realized the power of taking accountability for his thoughts through action. Yoga helped him to discover a sense of balance, perspective, and appreciation which deeply transformed his life and his relationships.

Since 2018, he has been inspired to complete over 1,000 hours of Yoga & movement-related training. In early 2020, Matt graduated from the Lyons Den Power Yoga 300-hour Teacher Training in New York City, led by Bethany Lyons. In 2018, he completed a 200-hour RYT training with Heather Sheridan & Julie Gurevich and, from there, went on to deepen his practice at Supersoul Farm in East Chatham, NY, completing a 200-hour RYT training with Raghunath.

Through his classes and workshops, Matt's passion is to explore the subtlety of intentional movement, breath, and awareness in order to empower people to create connection and sustainable growth in their practice and in their lives.
